POLICIES
For Leisure Travelers
Reservations & Deposit
All reservations must be confirmed with a credit card guarantee.
Lanesborough Country Inn will respond with a confirmation email within 24 hours of your reservation, detailing the specifics of your stay.
Any errors with the reservation noted by the guest should be brought to our attention in a timely manner
so that we may correct it to avoid any misunderstandings in your travel arrangements.
Deposits are only required for extended stay and block room reservations only, and are a percentage of the total price of the booking.
Percentage will vary by situation, but will be detailed in the Confirmation Email sent to the guest.
Some dates and times of the year have minimum stay requirements.
Changing reservations or length of stay after initial reservation
may change the rate and/or availability of rooms.
Cancellation
Reservations that require a deposit cancelled more than 10 business days in advance of arrival
date will be refunded their deposit.
Cancellations received less than 10 days in advance of arrival
date will forfeit their entire deposit, or receive a voucher to apply toward
a future stay.
72-hour cancellation for holidays and special events.
72-hour cancellation for peak periods (Summer, Winter Break, Fall Foliage, etc).
48-hour cancellation for non-peak periods.
If a guest does not contact LCI within the terms of the Cancellation Policy or fails to check in on the date of the reservation,
a one night stay fee will be charged to the CC on file, and the remainder of the reservation will be cancelled.
Reservations guaranteed with a credit card will warrant any cancellation fees charged to that card.
Departure before your scheduled departure date will constitute
a cancellation and will be subject to the aforementioned cancellation
policy.
Children
We love children of any age! That said, please note that the parent/guardian of any minor that damages property
will be held accountable for the repair or replacement of the damages.
Dogs
We love our canine companions more than the average facility. In fact, we are one of only a few Berkshire County properties that allow guests to bring their beloved pets with them on their travels.
Small and medium dogs are welcome, so long as the animals are not left unattended in the rooms, and the owners police behind them while they 'investigate' our spacious open grounds.
Dog fee: There is a refundable $50.00 pet deposit, released upon inspection of the guest room for any damages or extra cleaning requirements.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all of the guest rooms, with a $75.00 special cleaning fee charged to the guest
if any evidence of smoking within the buildings is discovered.

Please call for our policies concerning corporate direct billing accounts and specific company negotiated rates that may be applied to your stay.
